Why Researching Dommes is Important

It's crazy that a blog like this even has to be written. But there has been (and still are) a lot of fake dommes out there who are saturating the Findom scene and ruining it for the rest of us out there because the only goal they have in mind is to scam subs, thereby chasing them off. I'm not talking about fake subs "claiming" they've been scammed when the lot of them are only trying to get free jerk-off material and waste a Domme's time. I'm talking about real subs who genuinely want to be of use to an established Domme, yet still find themselves getting scammed in one way or another. There's literally one solution to that:

RESEARCH.

Too many subs are jumping on the scene to send tributes without making sure they know a Domme well enough or making sure the person they're $ending to is even a real Domme. You may wonder why verification is so important? This is why. It takes a lot more than just posting a video or a picture of yourself on twitter. While it may help in most cases, in plenty of other cases it only establishes one of two things: that it's either really the person behind the twitter account, yet doesn't show whether or not they're a real Domme, instadomme, or vanilla person trying to make a fast buck, or it's actually a man behind the account who has either stolen said picture or video, or has managed to get a woman friend of theirs to help fake verification. Yes, this has happened and is still happening.

Dommes are always telling subs to research, research, research. Does she have verification on another platform other than twitter? Does her twitter have different pictures and/or videos that further proves who she is and WHAT she is? Does she have a link to a clipsite? Is she on another social media platform that legally verifies her? If the answer is yes to any of these, congratulations, you know how to research. A simple, basic bing search will tell you what you need to know. Looking at her profile to see if she has a website will tell you what you need to know. Looking up her mentions, studying her Domme style, and so forth will tell you what you need to know. It's so simple it's almost laughable that people find themselves getting scammed all because they trusted a pretty face instead of doing the work to make sure said domme was legit in the first place. Almost.

To make it worse, subs tend to use an excuse like getting scammed as a reason to become demanding of an established Domme or to get her time for free. Whether or not you've been scammed, that won't change the fact that you still have to put in the work when it comes to a Domme you like, and finding out if that person is fake, or a selfish, manipulative instadomme. If you're new I can understand if research isn't the first thing on your mind. But it should be, especially when it comes to your fetish, your need and willingness to serve, and your money.

Here's a scenario: a sub comes on the Findom scene, they scope out the place and see a domme they like. She knows what to say to get your cock twitching and she has posted a verification video. But you're only thinking with you cock and immediately send money to this person without checking her out to make sure she's the right domme for you. Maybe the two of you have had a conversation where "she's" had more than enough practice at communicating like a woman that you don't even know you've become a target. Because her twitter says she's dominant, you fall for it and send her even more money and then boom! She blocks you. You're sitting there with your dick in your hand and a goofy look on your face trying to figure out what happened.

You've been taken. Plain and simple. Chicks out here know how to hustle and unfortunately you've become a victim of a shady hustle.

The person you've sent to isn't a real domme. You're lucky if that was even a woman. Chances are it might have been. But it could have been a man posing as a woman, also. You have no way of knowing because you didn't research and now you're fucking blocked. What happens now? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

This is the time to take your mistake in not thoroughly researching as a lesson and be prepared to do it the next time you stumble on a Domme that strikes your fancy. Sure, you can call the person out, but that won't change what happened. This isn't the time or opportunity to use your bad experience against the tons of established Dommes who really do work their asses off. This isn't the time to get demanding or become sour because you feel like you can't trust anyone until she's given you something for free. Findom doesn't work like that. The only way you can prevent yourself from getting scammed is by making sure the Domme is a real Domme to begin with.

Also know there are different types of verification: Verification A. she's posted a video or a picture of herself, holding a piece of paper with her handle written on it. This could be for any website like Twitter or Findom Discord (a place where real Domme are verified and established, and who work daily to take care of the subs they have). The advantage you get with Findom Discord, besides this kind of verification is that it's an entire community of REAL Dommes and subs who can get to know each other as their fetish persona AND vanilla interests. It's also a community where if anyone appears shady, the moderators handle it IMMEDIATELY in order to keep the community safe. This type of verification on Twitter doesn't guarantee any of that and so this way Verification A is essential depending on what platform you're on. Then there's Verification B. which is legal verification. When I say legal verification, I mean it's the kind of verification where the Domme has to provide legal documentation or a government issued ID. Clipsites and other websites like Finmessage and Findom World make you show these things for legal reasons and so if there's any Domme on any of those sites, it will prove without a doubt that she's not only who she says she is, but that she also has a legit place in the kink and fetish community.

This is the information you should be looking for when you go in search of a new Domme. Look at her twitter for this information. Look out for any links listed that will show you her clipsites or personal blog or website. There's absolutely no excuse not to look this up or behave as if the Domme owes you something because you've previously been scammed. Legit Dommes don't scam. But they owe you NOTHING. Period. You've got to do your due diligence on your own behalf if you're a legit sub, yet be willing to remain open enough if any established Domme has a reason to want to research you, as well. Hey, we have to stay just as safe as you, perhaps moreso. And if you keep these things in mind, you shouldn't have any problems of this magnitude.

Also keep in mind that many Dommes prefer not to show their face because of privacy issues. That doesn't mean they aren't legit. MANY of them definitely are. Don't assume they're not because they choose to be anonymous. And with new Dommes or Babydommes, allow them to take time to establish themselves before you even think of trying to ruin their reputation by calling them fake. There's nothing wrong with being new. We've all been new at one point or another.

Research, research, research. I can't stress that enough. The entire Findom community mentions this ALL THE TIME. It's no one's fault but your own if you refuse to listen.
